I've always hated crocs, but I did get a pair a few weeks ago when I was shopping in Hot Springs. I took a picture of the cutest pair of ugly shoes I've had in awhile (Cotton Candy Colored) so this post would have a picture, post are more fun with pictures....and it's all about the entertainment value. Not too many life altering events-today I went with the sixth graders to Medieval Times. They did a great job, and I had a good time as well. This afternoon was the last of the baby showers for awhile. Tomorrow is Aunt Lois' b-day, so I've spent the evening helping my Mom bake a cake (and way I say helping-I mean-licking bowls because you never outgrow that). There are now 6 more days with students, and then we have a staff development on Friday, and most of the following week. I hope to get everything moved into my new classroom before I leave for vacation in a few weeks. And thus completes another post of random thoughts...

So, you said that you've always hated Crocs, BUT you bought a pair anyway, and ... How are they?

I've seen them around a lot but haven't decided if I wanted to try them.

Even more fun than licking cake batter out of the bowl is eating cookie dough from the fridge! Especially if you have to be sneaky about it...

Where's summer vacation going to be?

They grew on me in the store where there were so many colors to choose from. Honestly, I got the kind with holes, and a lot of dirt comes in, more so than even flip flops! My feet also sweat in them, which I HATE, I think this is a common problem b/c they sold this stuff to eliminate icky smells (I don't have that yet, but I can imagine)....BUT, it does feel like I'm wearing slippers. They are really comfortable, and supportive, so it's a two sided coin! Yes, I love raw cookie dough, I bought some of those pre cute coin size 'things' from a school fundraiser and I just pop them out of the freezer one at a time to eat them....Summer vacation is a road trip (my year, of course)-KS to see Kelly, Chimney Rock/Oregon Trail, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Aspen, Santa Fe :O).
