Day Three: London, England Double-Decker Fun

Sunday, June 07, 2009

I'm a firm believer in doing the 'cliche' things in any location. If you are visiting Texas for the first time, you SHOULD ride a horse. I mean, sure-I think I did most of my horseback riding as a child in Oklahoma, but....I've seen the movies, you should ride a horse in Texas, wear your boots, and eat your bbq (the bbq really is worth it). When you go to Florida, you should visit Disney World. When you go to NY, eat pizza (I've only had the WORST pizza there, but you should still try it)....and when you go to London....what says "London" like Double Decker buses? So those are my plans for today. We plan to hop on and off and see all the 'big' sights along the route like Big Ben, the Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace, as well as take a ride up the Thames via boat. We have a list of places we hope to see. This is the tour company we planned to take today. www.theoriginaltour.com
