I laid out the cookie cutters, and clipped them together with paperclips (to hold them in place), and then added gorilla glue.
After my wreath dried, I peeled off any gorilla glue that showed itself, added some hot glues to a few week areas (the smaller cookie cutters), and added a ribbon. It doesn't get a lot easier.Linking To:

Being a cookie lover and baker, your wreath is right up my alley. I might just have to try putting one together sometime.
ReplyDeleteWay super cute. Going to a cookie swap party tomorrow. Making peanut butter candy bar cookies.
ReplyDeleteSuper fab, like always, I have a bunch of inherited cookie cutters taking up space in my basement. This would be a fun way to use them up! Some are kind dinged up and dented so they don't really work for baking but retain their basic shape.
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteawesome idea!
ReplyDeleteHi Christy, I'd really love to show this to my blog readers in New Zealand, do you mind if I share your post?

Oh, that's super cute! Now I'm kind of kicking myself for giving a whole bag of cookie cutters to my sister, just so she could make cookies! Although, hmm... eating cookies or crafting... that's a tough one!

Cute craft! I always use cookie cutters as ornaments on my rosemary tree in the kitchen each Christmas. I need to bookmark this post for next year. A couple of cookie cutter wreaths would look great on the french doors in my kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI love this. I was thinking of doing a cookie cutter wreath but wasn't certain if it had been done before. So happy I looked as I had no idea how to get them to stick together. Thankfully I have both gorilla glue and hot glue gun.
ReplyDeleteAt an estate sale earlier this year I picked up a very large bin filled with old cookie cutters of all different shapes and sizes.
I think there's about 150 in the bin, now I have a good reason for buying them (at least that's what I can tell the hubby),
Thank you for sharing your wreath and instructions.
