Football: Touchdown Taco Dip

Wednesday, August 10, 2011
This is a recipe originally from the Pampered Chef.  It's soooo good.  Think-7 layer, but way better, and easier, and cheaper, and...perfect for a football get together, or a get together with just you and your dogs when nobody is looking and counting your scoops, and dunks.
Touchdown Taco Dip Recipe
Ingredients:  16 oz can of refried beans, 8 oz pkg of (softened) cream cheese, 1 c. sour cream, 2 T. taco seasoning, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 oz of cheddar cheese (I used more), 1 can of sliced black olives, 1 med tomato (seeded, and chopped), 2 green onions (chopped), cilantro (I skipped this last one).
Instructions:  Layer beans on the bottom of a square dish.
Mix cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, and garlic, spread over bean layer.
Top with cheese, onions, tomatoes, olives, and cilantro.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350 (until cheese is melted).  Serve with chips.
Minus the tomatoes, and black olives (I didn't have any) here's how it looks after baking.
