Trip to New England: Rhode Island

Rhode Island was state number 50 for me!  The littlest state, with some fun little adventures.  We drove down and over to Newport.  Yachts and lighthouses greeted us around every corner.

I don't think I've mentioned, today, I love light houses.  We also stopped at the visitor's center and found out about a little area in town with a cliff walk that borders the ocean on one side, and the back of the famous mansions on the other side.  Below is The Breaker's mansion, one of many sites along the walk.
Holly and I also hopped over some of the rocks to touch the waters.
The thing that I love about beaches are how different each shoreline is in each state, each country etc.  The sand here was gray, and the rocks here are seriously a buffet of rainbow colors.  I've never seen anything like it.
