I've seen versions of these little lights floating around for awhile, and I've always wanted to try it out. They are really easy to put together, and the sky is the limit as far as where you could take this. Instead of framed pictures on each table, it would be cute to do this with couple pictures for weddings. I've also seen this idea floating around for birthday candles to celebrate special people on their special day. Basically, you need just a few supplies....vellum, a jar (I used an old pickle jar), and mod podge.
I just googled "vintage Halloween cards" and there were a ton of options to choose between. I printed them off on my vellum (works just like paper in the printer-I found mine at Hobby Lobby in a 10 pack and used a coupon so it was about 1.75). Put mod podge on the back of the vellum once you cut it out, and lay it smoothly around the glass.
I did not go over the top of the picture with vellum because I didn't want the ink to run. Also, as soon as you put the mod podge on, it's going to want to curl, so be ready to lay it down on the jar.
It dried to the jar and was stuck and ready for it's candle glow debut. :O) I dig it!
