Cookie Tray Memo Board

Friday, January 31, 2014
After seven years of 'living' in the classroom I am currently in-I decided I might redecorate a little.  So...here's a little memo board I put together for random notes and to do list.  I found this pan at the Dollar General (2 bucks).  I sprayed the edges black to match the paper I bought.
I cut the paper down to fit in the tray and glued it down.  You could also use mod podge, but if your paper is thin, it may bubble, so be careful.  Once it was glued down, I hot glued some rick rack I found on clearance to divide the two sections (purely just for looks).
I had a bunch of buttons left over from another project and I cut off the backs and glued them to magnets
I also glued ribbon at the top (on the back) to hang it up.
I'm making one of these on GMT with a completely different theme on Monday....super easy, and with the paper-it cost me less than three dollars.
