Primitive Candy Canes

 Here's a simple tutorial to get things started.  It's November, which means the stores have probably already sold all their Christmas and as setting out their Valentine's supplies, but....if you can find anything for 90 percent off, maybe here's a little something you can do...
I actually had these foam candy canes left over from this big 'grab bag' of Christmas stuff I bought one time at a thrift store.  I've seen lots of cheap-o candy canes at different shops that maybe won't win any cute awards.  The same goes for this guy...
I snipped one edge and then 'tore' the fabric....this left a ragged edge.  I glued it in place and then started wrapping it around to give it a more primitive look.  I added a bow and some berries because what project isn't better with a bow?  None.  That's right.
