I glued down a section of the pattern on both sides of the tags I had created.
I trimmed it down, and added a hanging hole, and these little white circle things to reinforce paper holes when they tear that are literally left over from when I was in high school...in 1997. No lie. Did anyone else use those as religiously as I did? I carried them in my pocket protector...or was that my Trapper Keeper. Now THAT is vintage.
These are absolutely adorable! I'm going to borrow this idea for sure, but I'll made copies of my pattern pieces onto colored papers, etc.
ReplyDeleteSEW cute!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for just the right thing to make out of the old patterns... and as far as the reinforced holes... I used them in High School in 1974~~~ haha they truly are Vintage~! (do NOT say antique)
ReplyDeleteI used to use those *ALL THE TIME*
