Cake Balls in an Egg

I saw cake balls in eggs for sale via Etsy last year.  Yesterday I blogged about the cake balls I made-I put them directly in liners and then in egg holes, but I had originally wanted to do this....turns out I made my cake balls too big to fit into the eggs.  I made smaller cake balls the second time around (about half the size of a donut hole), placed them in a liner and in Easter eggs.  

 I love gives in egg cartons, I can't explain in, but it's a fun way to serve these up!  I added a ribbon and a card and shipped out cake ball collection part two.
