I've seen this idea for just about every holiday I know of....and a few I didn't. Paint chip bookmarks. It's as easy as pulling a few off the display next time you are at a super center or home improvement store. I punched a hole and added some ribbon, and to really jazz it up, and (because it was sitting out from another project) I punched a few hearts in these guys. For the book loving Valentine....or the last minute parent-whatever fits. Put a message on the back and you are good to go.
