I made another cake this weekend (my friend's daughter (Alyse) turned 15-it's a tradition in a lot of hispanic families to throw a huge 15th birthday party to honor the daughter turning into a woman)....it's the last for a few months, but all turned out fine. The icing didn't want to go on in the heat and humidity, and there was a little leaning....which is why I do cakes for friends-I don't charge, they don't complain-it's a win win situation. I had another event to attend I had previously said I would go to.....but all in all-no disasters=success.
