Relay for Life

Tonight was the Richardson Relay for Life at Cisco. A team from school headed up together to walk, and honor loved ones who have been impacted by cancer. Usually the event last all night, and someone from your team is walking at all times, but it was cut short this year due to all the Swine Flu concerns in the area, and some strange weather than keeps moving through the area. It was a really enjoyable, and moving evening. I work with an incredible group of big-hearted people. We definitely hope to participate again next year. This year we walked away with the "Most Spirited" award....I'd say that pretty much sums up most of our functions, so it was the appropriate thing to go home with at the end of the evening. We ended the night at Cafe Brazil, amid lots of laughter. I didn't get a shot of the whole team, several people are missing from this picture, but some other people grabbed a few fun shots this evening once everyone had arrived, and hopefully they will be sharing photos soon! I'd definitely recommend the event, and if you are in the area, maybe you can bring a team to the Richardson event and join us around the track next year.
