SPRINKLES
Saturday, January 12, 2008
....I've done a lot this Saturday morning, but this was definitely my most interesting stop. I had my camera (because the plan was to print off the rest of my 2007 pictures so I can have the 'whole collection' ready to work with when I FINALLY pick up scrapbooking again). For the last few months, and in particular-this week, Friend's and Co-Workers have been telling me about this new Dallas bakery called-Sprinkles. Imported from the original location at Beverly Hills www.sprinklescupcakes.com. The story is they have delicious cupcakes, and though the menu varies from day to day, the quality never does. I was out, and decided it was time (twist my arm) to stop for a cupcake. This doesn't really adequately capture the experience b/c the line hanging out the door and down the sidwalk past the building had dwindled down after awhile, but it was worth the wait. This afternoon's cupcakes included the Red Velvet, White and Black, and Peanut Butter Chocolate. I had half of the Red Velvet (and help with the other half), I'll be back.

yum...those look so good! i will have to try that place the next time i'm in dallas!!
The Red Velvet was definitely the winner on this trip! You must go, if for no other reason than to say you have been ;o).
I've heard about this place..where is it? I'm always up to try a new cupcake =)
It was at Preston, right past Northwest Highway (if you are coming from the Plano area, it will be on your left after Preston, in the same center with the Bachlendorfs (I probably didn't spell that right) and I think a Corner Bakery, there is sign with all the shops in the center, but there are a ton of shops. There is a super cute store called Swoozies in the same shopping center, and Pickles and Ice Cream. It's worth a trip, several more people have tried it and not one has been disappointed :O)
