I used much the same process to make this clipboard as I have used in the past. My teaching partner and I actually put this together for our boss as a little Christmas gift this last year. She likes tea, and clipboards are universally needed in #112 ways on any given day in a school. We collected a bunch of different tea sleaves over a long period of time, and cut them in half. We painted the edge with blue paint. We glued the tea bag sleaves to the board with a glue stick, then when over the whole thing with Mod Podge. On the front we added her name, and went over it with Mod Podge as well.
We added ribbon to the top, and I also added a line between her name and the bags. I used super glue, but one tip is to use really dark ribbon or you will be able to see the dots of glue through the ribbon.
