Awhile ago I shared a tutorial for a book bag I made for a little nugget in my life. I blogged about this travel activity bag here. I'm bringing this idea to Good Morning, Texas today....
The great thing about this process is that it doesnt' require any sewing. You can outline the letter if you want with a fun stitch, but you can also outline letters or pictures you press onto bags and shirts with puff paint, or not at all. For this particular bag I pressed on some fun fabric, and then I bought some little lady bug buttons and sewed them onto the fabric to jazz it up. Still, if you don't like to sew, you can also just pin these on from the inside using a safety pin, add a little super glue to the closure and they are stuck for the life of the bag.
I filled it up with some activity Micah can take on the road, including these recycled crayons I blogged about here.
I blogged the tutorial for no sew applique projects here when I made this watermelon onsie
I'll be sharing a few other ideas, including this color your own cape. That post can be found here.
Peanut thought it might fit, I guess I need to point out his name doesn't start with a J, no matter what way you look at it.
And cupcake birthday shirts, which I blogged about here.
Here is a free template for the cupcake shape.
You can use ribbon for the candle (and use the same bond material to attach it), or you can cut out a cute piece of fabric. I have also used fun fabric for the frosting, and this time I covered it with some additional fun ribbon to make it even fluffier.
Cut out any shape out of fabric, grab some double sided steam a seam, and the sky....or rather the wardrobe possibilities is limitless.
And here is a link to the video, just for Jo!

You need to put the links to your Good Morning Texas outings on here. And you need to offer to make your fans a shirt for your blog. I want you to make a shirt that has you and your blog on it so I can wear it and say, "I know her. Her birthday is a day after mine. She is my friend and she's famous." So, I want a fan t-shirt, preferably with an autograph too. And then once the books start flowing out and your tv shows, I can wear my fan shirt that by then will be a highly prized fan collectable.
