Pretzel Roll Recipe
Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. (110 degree) water, 1 pkg yeast, 2 t. sugar, 4 1/2 c. flour, 2 t. kosher salt, 4 T. butter (melted), 1/4 c. baking soda, 1 whole egg, kosher salt.
Instructions: Dissolve yeast in water (5 min). Pour in next 4 ingredients (through butter). mix with dough hook until combined. Cover dough with a towel and let rise 1 hour (doubled in size). Dived into 16 pieces. Create balls. Place on a tray, cover and rise for 30 minutes.
Bring a pot with 2 qts of water, and 1/4 c. baking soda. Place rolls in simmering pot for 30 seconds. Flip to second side for 30 seconds. Place back on tray. Brush rolls with egg and sprinkle with salt. cut an x on top. Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes.

Could you make the dough in a bread maker?
411...I've never tried a dough machine, but I would think you could follow the process up until dunking it in water and baking. Let me know if you try it out!
